Jireh Ministries
in Uganda focuses on two distinct,
but interrelated ministries, The
Mountain of the Lord Church
and the Jireh’s
Children’s Center. Pastor
Benjamin Grace Kintu and his wife
Jacqueline moved from the city
of Kampala to the small town of
Masaka in the late 90s with a
simple vision; to reach lost people
for Jesus and to help them grow
into mature disciples. The Lord
gave them a burden to reach into
areas where many others were not
ministering. They started the
Mountain of the Lord Church in
Masaka town, and have used that
as a base for numerous other ministries.
In all things they strive to show
the love of Jesus through proclaiming
the Gospel and helping those who
are suffering. They have taken
in children who had been living
on the streets, and they have
initiated programs to help widows
struggling in poverty.

| One
of the central works
of Jireh Ministries
is the planting
of new churches in
remote areas.
There are many villages
with no active Gospel
witness, and the people
are bound in the darkness
of false religion,
witchcraft, and ignorance...

| Another
focus of Jireh Ministries
has been the founding
of Jireh
Children’s Center,
a home and school
for orphans and needy
children. This is
an attempt to provide
the basic needs of
these desperate children,
while at the same
time giving them a
decent education and
the opportunity to
learn about the Savior.
The vision is to provide
spiritual fathers
and mothers for a
generation lacking
them, and to prepare
them to lead their
nation into the future...
