Jireh
Ministries Foundation was
founded by Jim Fruehan,
within a year after his
wife, Robyn, returned from
a life changing 2-week mission
trip to Uganda. Robyn went
to the African nation with
Believers World Outreach,
a church in Oklahoma that
coordinates several missionary
trips throughout the world.
During her trip, she spent
a brief time at Jireh Children’s
Center where she met Pastor
Benjamin Grace Kintu. She
made a commitment to Pastor
Benjamin that she would
get him to the United States.
After she returned home,
God never let her forget
that he placed it on her
heart to bring Pastor Benjamin
to the United States to
share his Ministries.

Robyn worked diligently to raise
funds and plan for Pastor Benjamin’s
trip to the US, however obstacles
prohibited the trip from taking
place. Many people prayed for
the situation to be resolved and
wrote letters to the US Embassy.
The children in Masaka even fasted
for two days of prayer. Then,
out of the blue, Pastor Benjamin
received a phone call from the
Embassy with news that he was
granted a three-year Visa.
Pastor Benjamin’s trip
to the US was very fruitful in
that he visited places in Texas,
Oklahoma, and California.
“We were blessed to have
Benjamin stay in our home while
in San Diego, which allowed us
to talk in depth about his ministries.
We learned so much about the great
work Jireh Ministries in Uganda
was doing, and we learned that
they needed help to continue to
grow. It was at that time, with
the persuasion of the Lord, that
I decided to start Jireh Ministries
Foundation.”
